– Meet the Baker –
Hi! I’m Amber, the owner and artist of The Buttercream Mill. I’ve always had a passion for baking, but in 2021, I turned my passion into a ministry when I began Bakeroos. After 2 years of growing Bakeroos into a non-profit ministry, and creating 100s of kids’ birthday cakes, I wanted to build a business of my own. I had experimented with piping buttercream flowers on a few cakes in the past, but it quickly became an obsession and I realized this was where I wanted to focus my business. In March 2023, I started The Buttercream Mill.
I am a woman that wears many hats, and when I’m not baking, I am a wife to the man of my dreams, a Mom to four amazing children, and above all, a lover of my sweet Jesus.
My buttercream floral cakes and cupcakes are my art. I strive to create baked goods that look “too pretty to eat,” but taste just as good. I’m excited to meet you and bring your vision to life with showstopper baked goods for your next occasion. Let’s get started on your baked masterpiece!

I stumbled across The Buttercream Mill cupcakes while doing an Instagram search. My mom and I were hosting a baby shower for my sister, we wanted a special touch and not just the ordinary cake or cupcakes. I found her page and fell in love with the gorgeous floral designs, nothing else I found really compared and matched the aesthetic we wanted for the shower. Amber was easy to work with, I shared some floral arrangements we were using for the shower, a picture of the invitation, and some of her own work that I loved. She created beautiful cupcakes that everyone commented on not just how beautiful they looked but how great they tasted! I would absolutely order again and quite frankly need to find a good reason to do so! Thank you for helping to make my sister’s shower a memorable one!

The most wonderful cupcakes ever. Amber is an amazing artist and you will be thrilled with anything you ask her to make. I was in love with the creativity of the dog cupcakes and floral bouquet she made for my daughter’s birthday! Highly recommend!
